  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ tablespoon chili powder
  • ½ tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, (plus more as needed)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • ½ tablespoon pickled jalapeño juice
  • Warm corn or flour tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced roma tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Hot sauce

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add in the ground turkey, chili powder, ancho chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, ground cumin, and ground oregano. Cook for 8 minutes until the meat is browned, breaking up the meat into small pieces as it cooks.

  3. Stir in the tomato sauce and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and stir in the pickled jalapeño juice.

  4. Serve in warm corn tortillas with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, cilantro, and your favorite hot sauce.
